We're only six days into 2015, and what a crazy year it's already been!
There were plans for posts to close out 2014 and set up 2015 all of last week, but with the last minute decision to be a part of the Celebrations Bridal Event on Sunday (more on that later this week!), blog posts took a back seat to booth prep and finalizing plans for our first wedding of 2015 coming up this Saturday.
So even though we're a week behind schedule, I felt 2014 still deserved some credit, starting with our Favorite Things 2014 list.
Gold Dachshund Tape Dispenser - I found this little cutie at Target and how could I not get it? It's a dachshund and it's gold. It was meant to come home with me. I can't find them online anymore to link, but I did see some in one of my local Target's this past weekend. Get thee to Target!
Ariat Fatbaby Cowgirl Boots - I'm in love with these. Granted, I haven't worn them much yet because I've been on the go too much to get them broken in well, but I still love them. They're definitely going to make 2015 better.
Remodeling Progress - We've completed maybe 70% of our remodel. It's taken about 8 months to get that far, but when you're doing it yourself, working full time, and starting a business, there isn't a whole lot of time left at the end of the day. A lot of rooms are just lacking floors, which started going in about a week ago. I'll be able to share pictures soon. It's been a long time coming and I am ridiculously excited about it.
Bumble and Bumble Surf Collection - I discovered the Surf shampoo, conditioner, and salt spray over the summer, and Y'ALL. It's been life changing. Add some B+B DrySpun to the mix and it will rock your world. Guaranteed.
Taylor Swift 1989 - I have to admit, I was never a T Swift fan. She annoyed me on many different levels. But with the release of this new album, I find myself changing my mind. The songs from 1989 have found themselves at the center of more than one CSE office dance party as we closed out 2014 and hit 2015 on the ground running.
Garth Brooks World Tour - It's good, y'all. Really good. Before he retired, I saw him a few times and he was, hands down, the best show I have ever been to (and I've been to a lot). I saw him again on his World Tour this past September, and here's how I can best sum it up: Eighteen years later, he still puts on the best show I have ever seen.
